Ruth Abbott
Ruth Abbott is a wool spinner based in Marquette, MI. She has been a wool processing, carding, and spinning demonstrator since her youth, and is largely self-taught except for natural dyeing which she learned from a workshop offered at Greenfield Village. She’s demonstrated at innumerable FFs at Charlton Park in Barry County and spent a summer at Mackinac Island working for the Park Service as craft demonstrator.
