Our Sponsors
Folklife traditions connect generations, strengthen communities, and preserve the stories that shape who we are. From music and oral history to craftsmanship, language, foodways, and cultural practices, these traditions help sustain the identity and spirit of the Upper Peninsula. The U.P. Folklife Festival seeks to create opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages to experience, learn from, and celebrate the living traditions of our region.
The festival is being developed collaboratively with regional arts organizations, cultural groups, tradition bearers, educators, and community advocates who believe the stories and traditions of the Upper Peninsula deserve to be shared and sustained for future generations.
At this time, we welcome sponsorships of all levels to support programming! By sponsoring the Festival, your organization helps to
- Preserve traditional arts and cultural heritage
- Support traditional arts and culture bearers
- Promote intergenerational learning through demonstrations and workshops
- Expand accessible arts and culture experiences for residents and visitors
- Strengthen community connection and regional identity
