Tara Austin
Tara Austin is an artist from Grand Marais, MN specializing in oil painting in traditional and modern ways that honor Norwegian rosemaling. In 2017, Tara received her MFA and apprenticed with Andrea Herkert through a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board. She is now a master artist with an apprentice of her own, and has been demonstrating and teaching throughout the Midwest and Sweden regularly since 2020.
